LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Pilots love speed. The main draw to leave the ground and take to the sky, for many, is to go faster. Those pilots now can find aviation weather, airport information and aircraft sales listings faster than ever before on GlobalAir.com (https://www.globalair.com/).

The company unveiled its new-look homepage this week. It reconfigures dozens of tables linking to pages and databases with thousands of resources into a concise, interactive display that also left its designers room to improve the aesthetic aspect of the web page, as well.

Three main tables give easy access to the main components of GlobalAir.com, its aircraft for sale listings, Airport Resource Center and a directory of aviation businesses. A fourth table on the right side of these panels gives users an overview of other aspects of the site: a blog, an aviation events calendar, a puzzle game and aircraft title services.

Two other aspects featured on this fourth panel include Max-Trax, a patent-pending application from GlobalAir.com that serves as a fuel-route mapping system for cross country pilots, and A. Buyer, a feature that allows prospective aircraft buyers to search and monitor listings of a particular aircraft.

Company owner Jeff Carrithers believes the new layout of the homepage will allow longtime visitors and new users alike to find information they seek more efficiently.

“This new redesign allows aviators to find the best resources on the web in the easiest way possible,” he said, “and it looks fantastic, as well.”
