LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Among the first aviation websites to appear on the Internet, today GlobalAir.com remains among the industry’s largest online resources, and 2023 marked one of the best years on record for the place known as “Aviation’s Home Page Since 1995.”

As more business jets have entered the market on the preowned side of the industry, the amount of inventory has ballooned, as has the number of clients seeking premium methods to showcase their planes to potential customers. The company witnessed its highest volume of ad orders since before the pandemic, and in several metrics, set new records.

“We have always aimed to set ourselves apart from others by providing the best customer experience for our advertisers and site users,” said GlobalAir.com President and CEO Jeffrey Carrithers. “As we reach a new plateau for our industry, our commitments continue to shine through in everything that we do.”

GlobalAir.com rolled out many updates to its site in 2023 and has much more up its sleeve for 2024.

Improved aircraft search features
Launched in the summer of 2023, GlobalAir.com revamped the search features on its site so that users can find aircraft listed on its site faster than ever – by classification, manufacturer, model, location, price or total time – or even by typing in a model directly with autocomplete features.

New home page
The site also launched a new home page, built with AI consultation, to provide better direct access to users of all the tools and features of GlobalAir.com. Not only providing a better presentation and providing more engaging options, users have responded.

The average number of pages viewed by each user who start their journey through the site on the home page has increased 11% ,while the amount of time each user spends interacting with the site is up 15%. Meanwhile, traffic from Google to the home page is up nearly 25% from the prior time period.

Looking ahead to 2024
There is much more in the works in the year ahead, the company’s 28th. Expect to see more options for advertisers to reach customers with impactful messages, more quality content and even more enhancements to improve user experience on GlobalAir.com.

“We have been at this for nearly three decades now,” Carrithers said. “From day one, we have sought to improve, improve, improve. I’m excited about what we have in the pipeline, and I cannot wait to share it with everyone who has stood by us throughout our first 27 years.”
