Global 7500 Description

The Bombardier Global 7500 is a long-range, large-cabin business jet produced by Bombardier Aerospace. It is a member of the Global family of business jets, which also includes the Global 6000 and Global 8000. The Global 7500 is the world’s largest purpose-built business jet. Its first flight took place on November 4, 2016. Flight testing was completed in August 2018, with over 2,400 hours logged by the five prototypes. In September of 2018, it received type certification from Transport Canada, followed by FAA type certification in November of 2018. The unit cost of the Bombardier Global 7500 is $72.8 million; it had 100 orders secured as it entered the market in 2018.

The Bombardier Global 7500 is the industry’s only business jet with four living spaces for customers to enjoy on journeys up to a range of 7,770 nm. That kind of performance allows nonstop flights from cities like New York to Hong Kong. The Global 7500 recently flew 8,152 nm from Singapore to Tuscon, Arizona and the aircraft landed with fuel reserves for nearly 1.5 hours of additional flight. Takeoff distance for the Global 7500 is now at 5,800 ft at full fuel in standard operating conditions, compared to an expected 5,950 ft. Its landing distance has also improved to 2,850 ft. from an expected 2,975 ft., rivaling that of aircraft in the light jet category.

The first zone is equipped with four of Bombardier’s newly designed Nuage seats, and two deployable side tables. Next is the conference suite, offering seating for six and a dining table that can be set up to span the width of the cabin. In the entertainment suite, passengers can kick back and watch a movie in an atmosphere that feels as cozy as a living room. Finally, the aftmost suite offers a dedicated bed, work area, and en suite lavatory with an optional shower. There’s also a wardrobe and unrestricted access to the baggage compartment.

The Global 7500 has a maximum range of 7,700 nautical miles, which allows it to fly nonstop between any two points on the globe. It can carry up to 19 passengers and has a spacious cabin that features a variety of amenities, including a fully-equipped galley, a private lavatory, and a variety of seating options. The cabin is also equipped with the latest in-flight entertainment and connectivity technology, including high-speed internet and live television.

One of the key features of the Global 7500 is its advanced avionics suite, which includes a state-of-the-art flight deck with a large format display and a synthetic vision system. The avionics suite also includes a fully-integrated autothrottle system, which allows the pilot to maintain a consistent speed and reduce workload during flight. Additionally, the Global 7500 is equipped with a number of advanced safety features, including an enhanced navigation system, which provides the pilot with real-time weather and traffic information, as well as a runway awareness and advisory system, which helps prevent the aircraft from entering into dangerous flight conditions.

The Global 7500 also has a number of advanced performance features, including a Pratt & Whitney Canada PW815GA engines, which provide the aircraft with exceptional thrust and fuel efficiency. It also has the latest wing design, which helps to improve the aircraft's aerodynamics and reduce drag, which allows it to fly more efficiently.

The Global 7500 also boasts the largest and most advanced in-flight entertainment system in its class. This includes 4K resolution displays, high-speed internet, and a variety of streaming options for movies, TV, and music. Passengers can also control the cabin environment, lighting and temperature from their personal device.

Overall, the Bombardier Global 7500 is a highly capable and sophisticated business jet that offers a comfortable and luxurious flying experience for passengers, while also providing pilots with the latest in avionics and safety technology. With its advanced performance features and unparalleled range, the Global 7500 is one of the most capable and versatile business jets on the market today.
